- Tell us a little bit about yourselves. What is your background?

I’m a spanish designer, architect and artisan currently based in Italy.

I’m graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and trained in Fashion Design in the same city. In 2013 I opened my own fashion studio specialised in tailor made garments. Two years later, I moved to Milan, where I had other experiences as a designer and where I resume contact with ceramics, thanks to a training period with a ceramist. This city opens up my creative universe and motivate me to undertake a personal project that brings together different disciplines allowing me to do what I truly love, to create with my hands.

- Where does your passion for design come from?

Actually, I don't really know where it comes from. Since my childhood, I’ve been attracted to art and manual creation. Thanks to my studies in Architecture, I’ve been able to learn the importance of good aesthetics, proportion and harmony at work. By the time, I realised the connection I have with the Spanish handicraft, in particular with that of the tradition of my native city, ceramics and silk textiles, so I apply my design knowledge to my craft works.

- What inspires you?

My pieces are inspired by the “spontaneous objects” of the artisan tradition, in particular the Spanish one; objects that are part of my tactile and visual imagery and that I reinterpret according to a contemporary vision. Craftsmanship is not only a source of inspiration for me, it is also the tool that allows me to give shape to ideas, to work materials with my hands to transform them into new objects.

- What are your 3 favorite things?

Spending time with family and friends, cooking, and bringing an idea to life.
